Abstract
Education is a crucial factor in enhancing Indonesia's human resources. The national education vision aims to create a comprehensive and intelligent Indonesian society by 2025. The implementation of a zoning system in the New Student Admission (SPMB) program is an effort to improve and equalize the quality of education in Indonesia. However, the implementation of SPMB policies in the field still faces various challenges, such as inadequate socialization, limited understanding of parents, unpreparedness of technological infrastructure, and confusion due to changes in regulations.This study identifies four key indicators that influence the implementation of SPMB Domisili Pathway at SMAN 1 Cibitung, Bekasi Regency: communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic system. The obstacles faced include ineffective communication, limited resources, negative disposition, and a complex bureaucratic system. Strategies to overcome these obstacles include improving effective communication, enhancing resources, fostering a positive disposition, and simplifying the bureaucratic system. Recommendations for improving the implementation of SPMB Domisili Pathway include increasing socialization, providing clear information, enhancing technological infrastructure, promoting transparency, and conducting regular evaluations.
