Abstract
AMAR MAKRUF NAHI MUNGKAR EDUCATION MODEL IN EFFORTS TO ENFORCEMENT DISCIPLINE (CASE STUDY AT MTsS PONPES MISBAHUL BAROKAH Thesis. Bekasi: Master of Islamic Religious Education Graduate School of Islamic University "45" Bekasi Education is an important aspect in the formation of character and discipline of students. In Indonesia, many Islamic educational institutions integrate religious principles into their curriculum. One of the educational models known in the context of Islamic education is the Amar Ma'ruf Nahi Mungkar approach. This concept comes from Islamic teachings that emphasize the importance of enjoining good and forbidding evil as a way to form a just and prosperous society. This study examines the application of the Amar Ma'ruf Nahi Mungkar educational model in an effort to enforce student discipline at the Salafiyah Junior High School (MTsS) Misbahul Barokah Islamic Boarding School, Bekasi Regency. The Amar Ma'ruf Nahi Mungkar approach, which comes from Islamic teachings, emphasizes the importance of enjoining good and forbidding evil as a strategy in forming character and discipline. This study aims to analyze how this educational model is implemented and its impact on student discipline at the madrasah. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Amar Ma'ruf Nahi Mungkar at MTsS Ponpes Misbahul Barokah involves the integration of religious values in the curriculum, character building through supervision and role models of educators, and the implementation of extracurricular activities that support the formation of discipline. Positive impacts observed include increased student self-awareness, positive character development, and the creation of an environment that supports discipline.
