Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of basic volleyball upper passing techniques through modification of volleyball games for class VIII students of Taman Qur'aniyah Junior High School.” Thesis Physical Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University “45” Bekasi. This study aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of volleyball top passing through modification of volsal games for class VIII students of Taman Qur'aniyah Junior High School. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The population used in this study were 8th grade students of Taman Qur'aniyah Junior High School, obtained results with a total of 30 students. The initial survey showed that the students' upper passing learning outcomes were still low with an average score of 68.5, only 10 students (33.33%) reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). The main problems identified include the lack of student motivation, and the teacher's difficulty in delivering the material clearly. In cycle 1, an improvement in learning methods was carried out with a focus on volleyball games, which succeeded in increasing the students' average score to 71.7 with 18 students (60%) reaching the KKM. The results showed a significant increase, with the average score reaching 76.7 with 26 students (86.66%) reaching the KKM. The conclusion of this study is that the learning method through the modification of the volsal game is effective in improving the learning outcomes of students' volleyball upper passes
