Abstract
ABSTRACT Lilis Komalasari: 41182911150035, THE IMPLEMENTATION OF STORYING METHOD TO INCREASE STUDENT'S LEARNING MOTIVATION IN ISLAMIC CULTURAL HISTORY LESSONS (Qualitative Naturalistic Study at MTs. Nurul Huda Cakung Barat). Thesis: Islamic Education Study Program of Islamic “45” Bekasi University. In education, the method is a way of delivering lessons so that students can understand the lesson itself. Stories are artistic activities because they are closely related to beauty and rely on the power of the words used. The type of research used in this research is naturalistic qualitative, it is a research method based on a phenomenological view and seeks to understand the meaning of events to the object of research. This research formulates two main problems, the first one is How is the implementation of the storytelling method to increase students' learning motivation in the history of Islamic culture at MTs. Nurul Huda Cakung Barat, and the second one is what are the factors that support and hinder the implementation of the storytelling method in the history of Islamic culture at MTS. Nurul Huda Cakung Barat. The result of this research is the learning process by implementing the storytelling method. By using the storytelling method, it can be said to be successful because it provides a clearer understanding to students, and also the teacher can develop the material widely. Learning the history of Islamic culture by implementing the storytelling method can increase learning motivation, this is evidenced by the question and answer session that the teacher does, elicit responses from students to have more interest in the history of Islamic culture and understanding of religious knowledge. The implementation of the storytelling method also makes the classroom atmosphere more relaxed and comfortable for students and teachers to interact in learning Keywords: Storytelling Method, Teacher, Student
