Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the Influence of Competence and Career Levels on Employee Performance at PT Toyota Tsusho Nusa Transport. The population in the study was 113 employees and the sample was 88 employees of PT Toyota Tsusho Nusa Transport. This study used a quantitative descriptive method. For data analysis using statistical tests and calculations using multiple linear regression using the SPSS version 29.0 program. The results of the discussion of this study indicate that the competency variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, this is evidenced by the t-value of 3.379 with a significance level of 0.001 <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The career ladder variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, this is evidenced by the t-test value of 3.324 with a significance level of 0.001 <0.05, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, and the results of the coefficient of determination (KD) = 0.732, then competence and career ladder on performance together have an influence of 73.2% while the remaining 26.8% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. This explains that by increasing competence and career ladder, employee performance will increase. Keywords: Competence, Career Ladder, Performance.
