Abstract

EFFORTS OF TEACHERS TO INCREASE THE INTEREST IN LEARNING THE KORAN KORAN SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN 13-18 YEARS IN THE VILLAGE OF BURANGKENG SETU, BEKASI REGENCY. Islamic Education Study Program. Islamic University 45 Bekasi. (1445 H / 2024 M). This study aims to determine the interest in learning the Qur'an of children aged 13-18 years, to determine the efforts of teachers in increasing interest in learning the Qur'an and to determine the factors that influence the efforts of teachers in increasing interest in learning the Qur'an of children aged 13-18 years in Burangkeng Setu Village, Bekasi regency. This study uses qualitative methods with the type of Field Research . While the source of research through observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of this research is 1. It can be concluded that the interest in learning the Qur'an children aged 13-18 years, in RT 02 RW 06, Burangkeng village increased. 2. Teacher efforts can increase interest in learning the Qur'an children aged 13-18 years RT 02 RW 06 Burangkeng Village. This can be seen from the increasing indicators of interest in learning the Qur'an, namely the increasing number of students who recite the Koran and also the growth of student attention, feelings of pleasure, student interest, and student involvement. 3. The factors that influence the efforts of teachers in increasing the interest of learning the Qur'an students consist of : 1. supporting factors, parental support is by focusing on the provision of guiding, assisting, directing, and supervising students while in an environment outside the mosque and adequate infrastructure, namely Al-Qur'an, iqro, Tajweed science guide, juz amma, reading books and books. 2. Inhibiting factors in the implementation of the role of teacher guidance to students ' interest in learning the Qur'an, namely: mass media, especially electronic media such as mobile phones that make students lazy to learn the Qur'an. In addition, another inhibiting factor is the community environment such as choosing the wrong friends to hang out with.
