Damara Mumtaaz Tsumu. 41182911200056. THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES IN ISLAMIC EDUCATION SUBJECT AT SMA NEGERI 1 SETU. Islamic Education Study Program. Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi. (2024M/1446 H). (124) [total pages from cover to bibliography] This research aims to understand the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model in improving student learning outcomes in the Islamic Education subject at SMA Negeri 1 Setu. The main issues examined are: 1) How is the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model in Islamic Education subject at SMA Negeri 1 Setu?; 2) How are the student learning outcomes in Islamic Education subject using the Problem Based Learning model at SMA Negeri 1 Setu?; 3) Can the Problem Based Learning model improve student learning outcomes in the Islamic Education subject at SMA Negeri 1 Setu? The method used in this research is qualitative with descriptive analysis. The subject of this research is the Islamic Education teacher in implementing the Problem Based Learning model. Data collection techniques used in this research consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involve three main components: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model improves student learning outcomes in the Islamic Education subject at SMA Negeri 1 Setu. The steps of the Problem Based Learning model include: a) orienting students to the problem; b) organizing students for learning; c) guiding individual or group investigation; d) developing and presenting results; e) analyzing and evaluating the problem-solving process. The research results explain that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the Islamic Education subject at SMA Negeri 1 Setu, with learning outcomes indicators being 1) cognitive aspect, 2) affective aspect, and 3) psychomotor aspect. This is evidenced by the increase in student learning outcomes before and after the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model. The average learning outcome score of students in class XI B before the implementation of Problem Based Learning was 85.97, and after the implementation, it increased to 92.21. Similarly, the average score of students in class XII MIPA 2 before the implementation of Problem Based Learning was 87.91, and after the implementation, it increased to 95.09. In class XII IPS 5, the average score before the implementation of Problem Based Learning was 85.77, and after the implementation, it increased to 94.39.
