Abstract

The Effect of Plyometric Basic Box Jump and Burpee Training on Vertical Jumping Ability in Volleyball Extracurricular Players of SMPN 1 Tambun Selatan. Thesis. Islamic University 45 Bekasi. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. This study aims to find out whether there is an effect of Basic Box Jump and Burpee Plyometric Training on Vertical Jumping Ability in Volleyball Extracurricular Players of SMPN 1 Tambun Selatan. This research uses the One Pre - Test and Post - Test Plan method with a population of Extracurricular Students of SMPN 1 South Tambun and the samples used in this study were taken by purposive sampling and the research samples tested were 15 Volleyball Extracurricular Students of SMPN 1 South Tambun. Based on the hypothesis test of the dependent variables x and y from the results of the Vertical Jump correlation this research is strengthened by the results of the t test it can be seen that t count (4.049) > t table (1.7822), with a sig value (.001). This shows that the correlation coefficient is significant, so the hypothesis is accepted, so there is ‘The Effect of Plyometric Basic Box Jump and Burpee Training on Vertical Jump Ability in Volleyball Extracurricular Players of SMPN 1 Tambun Selatan.’
