Abstract

This research aims to identify the inhibiting factors in the implementation of the entrepreneurship education program in enhancing the entrepreneurial skills of students at Pondok Pesantren & Sekolah Alam Nurul Furqon Pamotan Rembang. After identifying these factors, the researcher analyzes and formulates ideal solutions to prevent these obstacles from recurring in the future. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies. Research participants included daily caregivers of the pesantren, entrepreneurship coordinators, teachers, and students. The results of the research show that the obstacles in implementing entrepreneurship education at Pondok Pesantren & Sekolah Alam Nurul Furqon Pamotan Rembang are student indiscipline, difficulties faced by teachers in time management, lack of motivation and self-confidence among students, environmental factors, teaching resources not related to the field of entrepreneurship, a curriculum that is becoming less relevant to the times, the high school level educational institution not being registered and accredited, the business scope not expanding, and intervention from parents regarding the content and existence of entrepreneurship classes. The pesantren has made significant efforts to address these issues but still needs to continue innovating and adapting to current conditions and needs. The researcher concludes that it is time for the pesantren to develop a strategic blueprint for the entrepreneurship education program to make the handling steps more efficient. The blueprint also makes efforts to prevent obstacles in program implementation more effective. In addition to the blueprint, three other aspects need to be addressed by the pesantren to prevent serious obstacles in the future, namely the legality of the institution, a comfortable learning environment, and reconsideration of policies related to salaries and contracts.
