Abstract
Environmental issues are not only a concern at the national level, but have reached the international level. This is one of the triggers for the initiative of the Indonesian Extinction Rebellion movement in conducting campaign movements on Instagram social media. Based on the background of the problem, this research aims to analyze the strategic content of the Indonesian Extinction Rebellion movement from February 2024 to May 2024 in making people aware of the impact of climate change in Indonesia. The research focuses on knowing the implementation of communication strategies by using descriptive qualitative methods and using persuasive communication theory as an approach. The result of this research is that the Extinction Rebellion movement's communication strategy has a significant effect in the process of making people aware of the impacts of climate change in Indonesia.
