Abstract

ABSTARCT 45 Islamic University of Bekasi Communication Studies of Ptogram Faculty of Communication, Literature, and Language 2024 Kamila Chaerun Nisa/41182037200092 Implementation of Situ Rawa Gede Bekasi Tourism Crisis Communication Management Under the guidance Mrs. Tin Hartini Situ Rawa Gede is a strategic tourist attraction in Bojong Menteng Village, Kec. Rawalumbu, Kab. Bekasi, West Java Province. In 2022, Situ Rawa Gede Bekasi will receive 2,000 tourists. However, on February 15 2023, a crisis occurred which caused a drastic decrease to 100 tourists. After the crisis, the number of visitors increased to 500 tourists. Situ Rawa Gede Bekasi continues to make recovery efforts to increase tourism again through the implementation of tourism crisis communication management. Crisis communication management is used by an organization in connection with a problem that is beyond its control. Tourism crisis communication management is divided into three stages, namely, pre-crisis, crisis and post-crisis. The aim of this research is to find out how to implement the three stages of tourism crisis communication management after a decline in tourists. By using descriptive qualitative research methods, this research explains phenomena that exist currently or in the past. The research results show that the three stages of tourism crisis communication management in Situ Rawa Gede Bekasi have implemented a system of identification, preventive action, planning readiness, rapid response and handling, crisis communication, management and coordination, and evaluation. However, there are several indicators that have not been implemented and are still in the planning process to improve the three stages of tourism crisis management in the future. Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Krisis, Manajemen Krisis , Pariwisata.
