Abstract
Bekasi City was selected as one of the areas that embodied the 100 Smart City/District movement in Indonesia. The government of Bekasi City is trying to realize the concept of smart city in Bekasi. One way for the purpose of a smart city to be met is by the existence of a socialization strategy carried out by the Government of the district of Bekasi City to the people of Bekati City. The aim of this research is to find out how the socialization strategy implemented by Pemkot Bekasi in the realization of smart city in Bekasi City. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research method with interview technique. The interview technique is carried out with the Government of the District of Bekasi which has an important role in Bekasi Smart City program in this regard, namely Diskominfostandi and Regional Device Organization (OPD) Bekasi City. This research aims to find out (1) to know the Smart City Program in the city of Bekasi", (2) To know the factors supporting and hindering the smart city program in Bekasi, (3) To find out the form of public participation in the "Smart City program in the town of bekasi. The result of the research obtained is the Government of Bekasi District in this case Diskominfostandi and the Regional Device Organization (OPD) have not implemented the socialization strategy in accordance with the concept of the strategy of socialization. However, Pemkot Bekasi has its own socialisation strategy in doing socialization concerning Bekasi Smart City. The suggestion of this research is the need to improve socialization in the implementation of the Smart City program as well as form cooperation between the government and the public to overcome the obstacles encountered in implementing this program. As well as the need for improvement of the effective Smart City programme through synergy between the governments of bekasi city with related agencies in implementation Smart City Program in Bekasi city and the provisionof facilities and facilities.
