Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes using the reading guide learning method on class XI students at SMKN 1 Setu in semester 1 of the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is quantitative research using a Quasi Experiment type research method with a Posttest-Only Control Group Design type. The population of this study included class XI students at SMKN 1 Setu. The samples studied were 72 students from class XI Electrical Engineering-E and class XI Culinary-B. The sampling technique uses drop samples. The research instrument is an objective test in the form of multiple choices and essays consisting of 10 multiple choices and 5 essays. Before being given to the sample, the research instrument was tested for validity and reliability with the number of questions tested being 10 multiple choice questions and 5 essays. The results of this research show that the calculations in this study used SPSS 25 for Windows software. rtable is 0.2319. The analytical requirements tests carried out were the normality test and homogeneity test, with a significance level (alpha) of 0.05, then obtained data with a normal distribution from the Sig experimental class. = 0.13 > 0.05 and control class Sig. 0.049 > 0.05. Hypothesis testing using the independent t-test produces p (Sig. 2 tailed) = 0.001 which says that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So the results of this research concluded that there was an influence of the reading guide learning method on the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMKN 1 Setu.
