Abstract
This research aims to determine the relationship between motivation and self-confidence with the final score of lead number points for rock climbing athletes in Bekasi City. This research was carried out by practicing directly and distributing questionnaires via the Google Form application. This research was completed in more than 1 month with data collection on January 28 2022. The aim of the research is the relationship between motivation and self-confidence and the final score of lead number points for rock climbing athletes in Bekasi City. This research consists of two variables, namely the dependent variable, namely the independent variables motivation and self-confidence. This research used qualitative methods with 17 subjects from Bekasi City rock climbing athletes, using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection uses a sports motivation scale and instruments confidence. The data analysis technique used is the bivariate Pearson correlation analysis test. The results of the research show that the p value = 0.188 <0.05, so the data is not significant between the variables Motivation and Self Confidence on the Lead Point Value, where each variable X1 and / Relate. So it is concluded that sports motivation and body image have no overall correlation.
