Abstract
The aim of the research is to find out whether human resource competence and motivation influence employee work performance so that PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor Tambun can produce high-achieving resources. The method used is quantitative descriptive which involves collecting analytical statistical data using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions 22 (SPSS 22) program. Based on the answers to the questionnaire that have been processed by SPSS, the results obtained from the coefficient of determination test are shown by the multiple linear correlation figure or R Square of 0.953, which means that the coefficient of determination is 95.3%. The work performance of PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor Tambun employees is influenced by Human Resource Competency and Motivation. Supported by the results of hypothesis testing which is proven by a significant value (t-count 14.030, sig 0.000) meaning that Ho is accepted and H2 is rejected, so that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on work performance. The results indicate that if work motivation at PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor Tambun increases, employee work performance will increase.
