Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out and analyze how the values of religious moderation are instilled by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in students at Daya Utama Mustikajaya High School, Bekasi City. The data used is primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by means of structured interviews with Islamic Religious Education Teachers, School Principals and OSIS Chairperson of Daya Utama High School. Secondary data was obtained by observing and documenting. Data analysis is carried out by comparing data found in the field with theories or expert opinions. Next, conclusions are drawn. The results of the research show that the values of religious moderation have been instilled by Islamic Religious Education teachers in the students of Daya Utama High School, Mustikajaya, Bekasi City through the Implementation Plan for Islamic Religious Subjects according to the 2013 Curriculum, and advice and examples of religious tolerance by the students. teachers, especially Islamic Religion teachers, as well as extra-curricular activities by ROHIS. Supporting factors for instilling the values of religious moderation include the Islamic Religious Education Learning Implementation Plan which already contains the values of religious moderation. and moral and exemplary messages from Islamic Religious Education teachers. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are students' lack of understanding about religious moderation, lack of supporting media, and a social environment that does not necessarily support the implementation of religious moderation values.
