Abstract
The background of this research is that there is competition in the world of education, especially Vocational High Schools, so that SMK Sumber Daya Kota Bekasi must carry out branding to be able to compete with other schools. In branding activities, it is necessary to have a branding strategy at SMK Sumber Daya Kota Bekasi, the strategy is made to make it easier to do something to meet certain targets. The branding carried out by SMK Sumber Daya Kota Bekasi is an effort to introduce the school to the wider community. The aim of this study was to find out the Someday 410 Podcast as a branding medium for SMK Sumber Daya Bekasi City. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. The results of the research are the branding method used by Sumber Daya Vocational School, Bekasi City, by introducing the school as a center of excellence based on a creative economy, starting from history to the advantages that exist at SMK Sumber Daya, Bekasi City. The method of branding is through four branding strategies, namely (1) Brand Positioning by displaying the advantages possessed by the school. (2) Brand Identity by displaying the school's identity, which is like the special uniform that belongs to SMK Sumber Daya Bekasi City and also the school's slogan. (3) Brand Personality by displaying the characteristics of the school such as the Someday 410 podcast which is used as a media branding and someday 410 eco products which are self-produced. (4) Brand Communication by conducting communication and company visits to collaborate and get sponsors, so that companies who have agreed to work with SMK Sumber Daya Bekasi City prioritize more graduates. Based on the research results, it is recommended for schools and other institutions to increase optimal branding by utilizing digital media to get good results for educational institutions.
