Abstract

The science learning outcomes of elementary school students are below average, this is due to teacher-centered learning. In conveying material to students, it only goes one way from the teacher to the students, then many students do not realize the importance of learning, especially in science subjects, because students find it difficult to understand the material provided by the teacher. This study aims to find out the description of the use of Problem Based Learning learning models that can improve student learning outcomes in elementary schools. The analytical model used is Systematic Literature Research (SLR) or systematic literature review, namely research to carry out identification, evaluation, and interpretation of all relevant research results related to specific research questions, specific topics or phenomena that are of concern. This analysis uses 17 journal articles related to the model of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning and science learning outcomes that are in accordance with research inclusion. Namely the index index of the Gologlen Schollar database, journals published in 2018 - 2022 (last 5 years), search subjects according to topic of research discussion, science lessons, and elementary school students. Based on the results of the Moldell analysis of the Learning Problem Based Learning (PBL) can improve the science learning outcomes of elementary school students, especially in high grades because high grade students are more competent in determining the topic of learning issues to be discussed. As well as being able to think critically is to determine the topic of the problem to be taken. So that this learning model can be applied to a variety of learning materials, for example, electrolysis, respiratory organs in humans and so on. In this way, Moldell's basic learning problem learning has a major influence in increasing the learning outcomes of elementary school students in science subjects.
