Abstract
ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to Know Quraish Shihab's thoughts on specialist scientists in Tafsir Al-Misbah and analyze the relevance of Quraish Shihab's thoughts on specialist scientists in Tafsir Al-Misbah to the professionalism of teachers in the national education system. The methodology used in this study uses a qualitative- descriptive approach with a literature study method of the type of interpretation m, audhu'i. The finding of this research is Quraish Shihab who is an expert in Qur'an exegesis born in Sidenreng Rampang, February 16, 1944. He was born, small and raised in a very strong Islamic religious environment ranging from education at home, in madrasas, schools to Al-Azhar University Egypt so as to form him into a well- known scholar of Qur'an exegesis in Indonesia with works that until now are still prolific writing with his most famous work, namely Tafsir Al-Misbah. As for his thoughts on specialist scientists in Tafsir Al-Misbah there are seven standards of scientists including: teachers who are able to see with the eyes of the head and eyes of the heart, teachers who are able to have a clear, bright mind, not shrouded by turbidity, doubt, lust, and animal lust in understanding all the instructions of Allah SWT and contemplating all His rules, namely believers, teachers who are able to always live and practice all the rules that Allah SWT has made in the Qur'an both in the form of commands and prohibitions in the hope that one day they can avoid every form of hellish torture and obtain luck, namely the pleasure of Allah SWT to enter His paradise, special teachers who are able to understand the process that changes one after another, teachers who are able to have power that is used as a way to do good in remembering the afterlife, teachers who use their knowledge to testify to the oneness of Allah Almighty based on the amount of evidence that logic accepts and cannot be prevented from being true at once by reason based on spiritual experience and holiness that they always practice, and teachers who are able to use their intellect to forbid and prevent from falling into error and error. And the relevance of Quraish Shihab's thoughts to teacher professionalism in the national education system include: ulil albab with Law No. 14 of 2005 Article 14 Paragraphs 1b &; 1f, ulil abshor with Law No. 14 of 2005 Article 7 Paragraph 1, Permendiknas No. 16 of 2007 No. 11, and Law No. 20 of 2003 Article 36 Paragraphs 3a and 3b, ulil aydi with Law No. 14 of 2005 Article 14 Paragraph 1b &; 1i, Article 28 paragraph 1, Article 37 paragraph 3, ulil ilmi Law No. 14 of 2005 Article 10 Paragraph 1, Permendiknas No. 16 of 2007 Article 1 Paragraph 2 letter b no 20-24, Permendikbud No. 48 of 2020 Article 3 letter d and article 7, and ulin nuha with Law No. 14 of 2005 Articles 42a and 43, PeratuPermendikbud No. 48 of 2020.
