Abstract

Tanwir, Principal's Strategy in Improving Students' Akhlakul Karimah at As Sabiquun Serang Baru Integrated Islamic Junior High School, Bekasi Regency. Islamic Education Management Masters Program, Postgraduate School, Islamic University 45 Bekasi. Email : abuukasyah2014@gmail.com. March 2023. This thesis aims to determine student morals toward teachers at SMPIT As Sabiquun and the strategies used by school principals to improve student morals as well as supporting and inhibiting faktors for achieving increased student morals at SMPIT As Sabiquun Serang Baru, Bekasi Regency. The type of research used is qualitative research, with qualitative descriptive research methods, namely research that collects data through observation or observations made by researchers in order to find accurate field information that can tell the situation at the location, in-depth interviews with informants in the field, and other supporting data in the form of field notes and documentation. The results of this study are that SMPIT As Sabiquun students can practice akhlakul karimah after going through the coaching process by the school principal and the teacher council through strategies that are applied intensively, among the strategies used by the principal in improving akhlakul karimah are by exemplary, daily habituation, giving gifts and punishment, daily kontrol and education synergy with parents as well as providing motivation and direction which is carried out periodically. The supporting faktors in the process of improving students' akhlakul karimah are the existence of student kontrol books, standard rules from schools, mabit activities, giving motivation by teachers, whattsapp groups with parents and Intra-School Student Organizations, while the inhibiting faktors for achieving akhlakul karimah students include parents' busyness at work, children's play environment that is not conducive, students' unpreparedness in interacting on social media.
