Abstract
Syifa Indah Atiqa. 41182911180086. "IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CHARACTER BUILDING PROGRAM IN IMPROVING STUDENT DISCIPLINE." Islamic University "45" Bekasi 1444 h/2023. This study aims to determine the quality of the impact of the character building program in improving student discipline at SMK N 2 Cikarang Barat. This research is a qualitative research that takes place at SMKN 2 Cikarang Barat, the data sources used are primary and secondary data sources. The data collection method in this study used questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques and conclusions were used to test the validity of using source triangulation. The results showed that character building activities can improve student discipline and positive habits such as independence, hard work, honesty, enthusiasm, cooperation, self-confidence, fond of reading, responsible, caring for the environment, social care, tolerance, respect, and friendship according to the six the main character of SMKN 2 West Cikarang. Inhibiting factors are facilities and infrastructure, the number of classes that are not appropriate, the wifi network is not comprehensive, and the location near the industrial area is not conducive, and budget constraints and negative influences from the outside world make students lazy.
