Abstract

ABSTRACT Diah Novita Sari, 41182911170042, "The Effect of Using the Zoom Meeting Application on Student Learning Interests in Islamic Religious Education Subjects in Class XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2 SMAN 3 Babelan". Thesis for the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Islamic University “45” Bekasi, 2023. This thesis aims to determine the effect of using the Zoom Meeting application on student learning interest in learning Islamic Religious Education in Class XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2 SMAN 3 BABELAN. The results of this study are expected to provide benefits to every reader, especially in the world of education regarding the use of the Zoom Meeting application for student learning interest in Islamic religious education subjects. The research method used is quantitative research with the Ex Post Facto approach, in which this research was conducted to examine events that have already occurred. The results of the study show that the use of the Zoom Meeting application has a significant effect on Student Learning Interest. This is based on the results of the tcount > ttable, namely 5,828 > 2,001 and with a probability value of tcount Significance (0.00) < α (0.05), which means that there is an effect of using the Zoom Meeting application on Student Learning Interest. The results of the study also show a positive effect between the use of Zoom Meeting on Student Learning Interest as shown by the Simple Linear Regression equation (Y = 13.689 + 0.524X) meaning that the better the use of the Zoom Meeting application the better the Learning Interest of SMAN 3 BABELAN Students and vice versa.
