Abstract
THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE AN-NAHDLIYAH METHOD IN IMPROVING STUDENTS' READING AND WRITING ABILITY AL-BAYANI ISLAMIC SD, BEKASI REGENCY Kosim Nur Iskandar Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi, Indonesia kosimnuriskandar92@gmail.com ABSTRACT This research aims to: 1) Find out and analyze the effectiveness of the application of the an-nahdliyah method in learning Islamic religious education at Al-Bayani Islamic Elementary School, 2) Find out and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the an-nahdliyah method in learning Islamic religious education in elementary schools. Islam Al-Bayani, 3) Find out and analyze the Supporters and Barriers of the An-Nahdliyah Method in Islamic Religious Education Learning at Al-Bayani Islamic School. The research methodology used is a non-interactive qualitative inquiry model. In collecting data using observation methods, in-depth interviews and documentation, as well as using qualitative descriptive data analysis where researchers describe and describe data systematically about the effectiveness of An-Nahdliyah's teaching methods. and triangulation. The results showed that the effectiveness of the An-Nahdliyah Method in Islamic Religious Education Learning at Al-Bayani Islamic Elementary School was carried out with the classical system. The material is in accordance with the 6 volume palette book. seen from the more fluent students read and write Al-Quran. While the increase in students also increased. seen from students who previously had not been fluent became fluent. The advantages of the An-Nahdliyah Method : Learning is more fun because in this method children are invited to sing songs while learning to read and write the Qur'an, It is easy to understand and accept because of the tap with a stick which makes children more interested and more motivated. focus, and Added other religious materials such as fiqh and aqidah, as well as daily prayers. The Disadvantages of the An-Nahdliyah Method : Not all teachers can teach the An-Nahdliyah Method, only teachers who have been trained by Mabin An-Nahdliyah who may teach the An-Nahdliyah method, The An-Nahdliyah method has a teaching process which takes a long time, Not all PAI materials can be included in the An-Nahdliyah method. Supporting factors include : the head of the foundation and the school principal as role models, the knowledge and professionalism of teachers in teaching, parental encouragement, the method used, peer support, school discipline and students. While the inhibiting factors include : lack of parental encouragement, inadequate number of teachers and during the covid pandemic period who are less effective in learning.
