Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effects of work-life balance and work-family conflict on turnover intention among employees at PT Emsonic Indonesia in Cikarang, Indonesia. The population for this study consists of employees in the Quality Assurance department at PT Emsonic Indonesia, with a sample size of 73 respondents. The research method used in this study is quantitative. The data used are primary data, collected via a questionnaire distributed through Google Forms. The sampling technique employed in this study is purposive sampling, which involves selecting a sample based on specific considerations or criteria established by the researcher in accordance with the study’s objectives. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS version 4.0. The results indicate that work-life balance has a significant negative effect on turnover intention, with a parameter coefficient of -0.469 (t-stat 6.888; p-value = 0.000). Work-family conflict has a significant positive effect on turnover intention, with a parameter coefficient of 0.610 (t-stat = 8.995; p-value = 0.000). Turnover intention is explained by work-life balance and work-family conflict to the extent of 57.9% (R-Square), while the remainder is explained by other variables outside the scope of this study.
