Abstract

College students who have passed through late adolescenceor even some adulthoodshould have a strong sense of commitment. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between self-awareness, task aversion, and academic procrastination among senior college students. This study is a quantitative study with a correlational design. The instruments were theAPS the SAOQ and a self-developed scale. The subjects of this study were 266 college students selected using cluster sampling. and simple regression tests. The results of the study indicate a significant negative correlation between selfawareness and academic procrastination (r = 0.350; p = 0.035), as well as a significant positive correlation betweentask aversion and academic procrastination (r = 0.734; p = 0.000). These findings indicate that the higher the self-awareness, the lower the academic procrastination; and the higher the task aversion, the lower the academic procrastination
