Abstract

The development of information technology encourages the government to improve the quality of public services through the use of digital systems, one of which is in the field of population data collection through the Carik Jakarta Application used by Dasawisma cadres and village officials. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Carik Jakarta Application in population data collection services in Pulo Gebang Village and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study method, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation involving village officials and data collection cadres. The effectiveness analysis is based on indicators of program success, target success, satisfaction with the program, and overall goal achievement. The results show that the Carik Jakarta Application has generally been effective in supporting population data collection services, especially in accelerating the data collection process, improving administrative order, and reducing data errors compared to manual methods. However, the application's effectiveness is not fully optimal because several obstacles are still encountered, such as technical system disruptions, limited internet network, and differences in the level of technological understanding among cadres. Therefore, improvement efforts are needed through increasing the quality of the application system and ongoing training for data collection cadres so that population data collection services can run more optimally and sustainably.
