Abstract

Alfiah Tusyahri, 41182911210052 "The Influence of Digital-Based Learning Media on Student Learning Activity in PAI Learning at SMPIT Gema Nurani" Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Religion, Islamic University 45 Bekasi. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the rapid development of digital technology which has brought significant changes in the world of education, including in the learning process of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The use of digital-based learning media, especially learning videos, is seen as having the potential to increase student learning activity. However, in the practice of learning in the field, the use of digital media has not been fully accompanied by an increase in the active participation and involvement of students optimally. This study was conducted to analyze the influence of digital media, namely learning videos, on student learning activity in PAI learning at SMPIT Gema Nurani. The research uses a quantitative approach with a type of experiment. The research population was all grade VII students with a sample of 40 students. It is divided into 2 classes, namely 20 students in the control class and 20 students in the experimental class. The research instrument is in the form of an observation sheet containing digital media steps, learning videos, and a questionnaire about student learning activity as many as 20 statements. Data were analyzed using pre-requisite tests and T-tests with the help of the SPSS version 27 program. The results of the study show that digital media learning videos have an effect on student learning activity. This can be seen from the average value of student learning activity in PAI learning, in the pre-treatment experimental class of 58.2 and after being given treatment in the learning process in the experimental class using digital media learning videos obtained an increase with an average score of 68.7. The results of the hypothesis test calculation using the paired sample t-test are known to have a tcal value of 5.760 on student learning activity while the ttable is 2,086, if the tcount is 5.760 > ttable is 2,086, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of digital-based learning media, namely learning videos, on student learning activity at SMPIT Gema Nurani Nurani.
