Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the IPAS subject in class V at SDN Teluk Pucung V. This is evident from the End-of-Year Summative Assessment (PSAT), where only 34% or 8 out of 21 students achieved a score above the school's established Learning Achievement Criteria (KKTP) of 75. Meanwhile, the remaining 71% or 15 students scored below the KKTP. The above data is supported by interviews with the classroom teacher, who stated that students have varying levels of memory, students do not fully understand the material being studied, students are not very capable of applying the material taught, students are still lacking in interpretation, students are not very capable of analyzing, and students are not very capable of solving problems. The results of this study show that classical mastery in Cycle I was 39%, increasing by 46% to 85%. This increase in classical mastery was accompanied by an increase in students' average scores, from 72 in Cycle I to 86 in Cycle II. Learning outcome indicators also showed improvement, namely: a) Remembering indicator from 92 in Cycle I to 100 in Cycle II; b) Understanding indicator from 84 in Cycle I to 85 in Cycle II; c) Applying indicator from 48 in Cycle I to 88; d) Analyzing indicator from 74 in Cycle I to 88 in Cycle II; e) Evaluating indicator from 72 to 82; f) Creating indicator from 74 in Cycle I to 85 in Cycle II. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Number Head Together (NHT) learning model can improve students' learning outcomes in IPAS subjects in Grade V at SDN Teluk Pucung V, Bekasi City.
