Abstract

Kasus intoleransi agama yang terus meningkat di Indonesia menimbulkan kebutuhan mendesak untuk menyebarkan pesan moderasi beragama secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap makna pesan dakwah moderasi beragama yang disampaikan oleh enam tokoh lintas agama dalam Podcast Login Season 2 episode 30 di kanal YouTube Deddy Corbuzier. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teori semiotik Roland Barthes yang membagi proses pemaknaan ke dalam tiga tataran: denotatif, konotatif, dan mitos. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tingkat denotatif, tokoh agama menyampaikan ajaran agama masing-masing secara eksplisit, seperti komitmen kebangsaan, toleransi, anti kekerasan, dan penghormatan terhadap budaya lokal. Pada tataran konotatif, pesan dakwah dimaknai sebagai bentuk empati, inklusivitas, dan kesadaran sosial yang bersumber dari nilai-nilai ajaran agama. Sementara pada tataran mitos, makna-makna tersebut membentuk konstruksi ideologis yang menarasikan keberagaman sebagai kekuatan bangsa dan toleransi sebagai prinsip hidup yang seolah telah bersifat alamiah. Dengan demikian, podcast ini menjadi ruang ekspresi yang menciptakan dan memperkuat makna moderasi beragama di tengah masyarakat multikultural Indonesia. The increasing cases of religious intolerance in Indonesia highlight the urgent need to effectively disseminate the message of religious moderation. This study aims to uncover the meaning of religious moderation preaching conveyed by six interfaith leaders in Podcast Login Season 2 Episode 30 on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel. Using a qualitative approach and Roland Barthes' semiotic theory, which divides the meaning-making process into three levels denotative, connotative, and myth this research reveals the following findings. At the denotative level, religious leaders explicitly convey their respective religious teachings, such as commitment to national unity, tolerance, non-violence, and respect for local culture. At the connotative level, the preaching messages are interpreted as expressions of empathy, inclusivity, and social awareness rooted in religious values. Meanwhile, at the myth level, these meanings form an ideological construct that frames diversity as a national strength and tolerance as a seemingly natural life principle. Thus, the podcast serves as an expressive space that creates and reinforces the meaning of religious moderation within Indonesia's multicultural society.
