Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of communication skills and organizational culture on employee work effectiveness at PT Machiko Jaya Indonesia, a manufacturing company facing challenges in achieving its targeted productivity. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed, involving all employees of the company as the research sample, totaling 44 respondents. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale to measure three main variables: communication skills, organizational culture, and work effectiveness. The research findings indicate that communication skills significantly affect work effectiveness, with effective communication both vertically and horizontally improving understanding, reducing misunderstandings, and facilitating smoother information flow. Additionally, a strong organizational culture also has a positive impact on work effectiveness by enhancing employees' sense of ownership, commitment, and motivation. However, the study also revealed that the lack of recognition for employee achievements and insufficient communication training are barriers to achieving optimal work effectiveness. Therefore, it is recommended that the company enhance internal communication skills and foster a culture of recognition to improve performance and work effectiveness within the organization.
