Abstract

This research aims to find out how the experience of participating in a campus teaching program can influence the pedagogical competence of prospective teacher student in Bekasi. The method used in this research is quantitative with a correlation type. The sample size for this research was 78 education students who attended the class 5 teaching campus in Bekasi. The data collection technique in this research uses a Likert scale questionnaire to measure variables X and Y. The results of data analysis used the SPSS version 27 statistical test. Normality testing resulted in 0.200 ≥ 0.05 so it can be said that the data is normally distributed. The correlation test produces a value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05, which means the data is correlated with a close relationship of 0.652 which is included in the strong correlation value category. The coefficient of determination (R square) value obtained was 0.425, which states that the campus program teaches 42.5% of pedagogical competence and the remaining 57.5% is influenced by other variables. The results of the significance test or t test showed that tcount was 7.501 ≥ ttable 1.1991, so it can be concluded that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. From the research results, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between campus teaching programs on the pedagogical competence of prospective teacher students in Bekasi.
