Abstract

Work-life balance is a crucial aspect for employees in addressing increasingly complex work demands in the modern era. Imbalance between work and personal life can lead to stress and a decline in quality of life. This study aims to examine the relationship between gratitude and life satisfaction on work-life balance among operational employees of PT. Putra Timur Jaya. Using a quantitative correlational method, the study involved 125 respondents selected from a population of 181 employees through simple random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires measuring gratitude, life satisfaction, and work-life balance. Multiple regression analysis was used to evaluate the relationships between the variables. The results indicate that gratitude and life satisfaction positively contribute to work-life balance. Gratitude shows a significant positive correlation (r = 0.523, p < 0.05), as does life satisfaction (r = 0.562, p < 0.05). Simultaneously, both variables positively influence work-life balance (R2 = 0.560, p < 0.05). Keyword: gratitude, life satisfaction, work life balance.
