Abstract

This research examines the relationship between social support, secure attachment style and loneliness among students at the 45 Islamic University of Bekasi. This research aims to examine the influence of social support and secure attachment style on loneliness in students. This research method is a correlational quantitative approach. The subjects in the research were 366 students at Islamic University 45 Bekasi, with a sampling technique using Proportional Random Sampling. The loneliness scale used was the UCLA Loneliness Scale (Version 3) with r=0.89, the social support scale from Hafsah (2023) with r= 0.90 and the secure attachment style scale prepared by the author with r=0.95. Data analysis techniques use descriptive techniques, assumption testing, and hypothesis testing. The research results showed that there was a significant negative relationship and influence between social support and loneliness (r= -0.257, p= 0.000). Secure attachment style and loneliness also showed a significant negative relationship and influence (r= -0.527, p= 0.000).
