Abstract

Currently, the world is undergoing a revolution in the application of computer technology called digitization, including the easy and often used qr code in the digital era, which is important. Realizing this, the qr code can be applied to the invited guest management system. There are still many limitations in filling out the guest book today, which hinders filling out the guest book because it takes too long which makes the queue quite long, the writing in the guest book data collection is not accurate, while filling the guest book is mandatory so that the event organizers can find out who the invited guests are attending the event, and guest book data has no privacy so it can be misused by irresponsible parties. In overcoming this risk, it is necessary to implement the use of an Android-based qr code as a substitute for filling out the guest book which digitally can help reduce the risks that occur to make it easier to fill out the guest book. In this study, implementing qr code in android-based guestbook management with the help of the flutter framework and firebase assistance as a NoSQL database, Google Firebase provides a REST API that can be accessed directly and quickly in data exchange so as to provide efficiency values for speed in managing invited guests, Scanning the qr code of invited guests has an effective time of 1.02 seconds and has a detection distance of at least 10 cm to 50 cm.
