Abstract

Stunting cases that are still a concern of the central and regional governments continue to make various efforts to reduce the increasing number of stunting cases. Stunting cases continue to increase, but there is one Kelurahan area in Jatinegara District, East Jakarta that has succesfully implemented an accelerated stunting reduction program to become a zero stunting area. The area is in the Balimester Village Health Center health service agency which has succeeded in reducing the number of stunting with initial data of 7 stunting toddlers then continuing to decline to zero stunting. The purpose of this study was to determine the health communication advocacy program in the accelerated stunting reduction program at the Balimester Puskesmas to the community. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Based on the result of the research that has been conducted, Puskesmas Balimester has succeeded in reducing stunting cases to zero stunting, the succes of the program is of course due to the establishment of good communication amd mutual embrace between Puskemas Balimester, Balimester Village head, and the community. In addition, the implementation of the accelerated stunting reduction progra, at the Balimester Puskesmas was succesful by carrying out health communication advocacy theory to the community. Health communication advocacy theory at Puskesmas Balimester certainly has modifications in applying to the community, because Puskesmas Balimester is a government-owned health service agency so that the programs implemented are in accordance with the procedures of the central government and local government.
