Abstract

Bunga Okta Maula Ikami, 411829111190080. The Perspective of the Quran on the Implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning of Islamic Religious Education in Senior High School 1 Tambun Utara. Study Program of Islamic Religious Education. Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi. 2023 AD/1445 H. The purpose of this writing is to evaluate the implementation of contextual teaching and learning in Islamic Education at SMA Negeri 1 Tambun Utara. Using a qualitative approach, the analysis shows that the implementation aligns with the established curriculum and syllabus, as detailed in the lesson plans by the Islamic Education teacher. The focus of this thesis is on the implementation of contextual learning in the Islamic Education subject at SMA Negeri 1 Tambun Utara, with the main issue being: How is the implementation of contextual teaching and learning in the Islamic Education subject for grade XI at SMA Negeri 1 Tambun Utara? This study is a descriptive field research using qualitative analysis. The research informants include the school principal, Islamic Education teachers, and students. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. In the context of Islamic Education, contextual learning at SMA Negeri 1 Tambun Utara emphasizes student understanding through methods such as reading the Qur'an, practice, and discussion. The implementation of contextual learning involves principles such as constructivism, inquiry, questioning, learning communities, modeling, reflection, and product assessment. The advantage of this method lies in the more meaningful learning and the more active role of students. Evaluation is conducted at the end of each basic competency to ensure the quality of learning. The practice of learning outside the classroom provides a better interactive experience, in line with the findings of this research.
