Abstract

ABSTRAC Employee retention is a company strategy to retain its best employees to remain in the company for a certain period of time. The research objective is to test and analyze whether there is an influence of compensation and organizational commitment on employee retention at PT Pacific Asia Packaging. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in the study was all 138 employees. The sampling technique used the Slovin formula, and the sample used was 103 respondents. Data collection techniques using observation and distributing questionnaires. data analysis techniques using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions 26. The results of this research show that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee retention and organizational commitment has a significant effect on employee retention. This means that the better the compensation provided and the higher the employee's commitment to the company, the employee retention in the company will increase.
