Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of obtaining information regarding how PAI teachers' efforts to overcome verbal and non-verbal bullying behavior among students at SMK Negeri 6 Bekasi City, to find out the factors that cause verbal and non-verbal bullying behavior among students at SMK Negeri 6 Bekasi City, as well as to find out what obstacles and solutions PAI teachers have in overcoming verbal and non-verbal bullying behavior among students in State Vocational School 6 Bekasi City. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection techniques in this research are through interviews, observation and documentation. As well as data analysis techniques using reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that: 1) there are 3 factors that cause verbal and non-verbal bullying behavior, namely: a) inequality and social differences, between the perpetrator and the victim. b) negative behavior models, both from the family environment and from the circle of friends. c) social media. 2) PAI teachers' efforts to overcome verbal and non-verbal bullying behavior among students include: a) providing moral education. b) supervision of student activities. c) anti-bullying educational activities. d) provide motivation to the victim. e) apply consistent sanctions. 3) There are 2 obstacles for PAI teachers in making efforts to overcome verbal and non-verbal bullying behavior among students, the first comes from the students themselves, such as a lack of awareness of the negative impacts of bullying, students who consider the advice given by teachers trivial and students' fear of Report bullying that occurs at school. The second comes from the PAI teacher's inability to identify non-verbal bullying. The solution used in PAI teachers' efforts to overcome verbal and non-verbal bullying behavior in students is by increasing students' understanding by implementing anti-bullying programs in schools, conducting personal dialogue with these students, holding training and increasing awareness of PAI teachers, and creating an environment open in class.
