Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to achieve educational goals. Recently there has been a decline in morals in the educational environment. Moral education becomes very important in the current era of modernization. KH. Noer Alie wrote a book on moral education, namely the Book Nurul Hidayah Liman Arodassa'adah The aim of this research is to: 1) Find out KH's educational thinking. Noer Alie in the Nurul Hidayah Book, 2) Knowing how to improve students' morals, 3) Knowing the evaluation of students' moral education, and 4) Knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving students' morals. The research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, namely research that is used to examine a situation or natural phenomenon regarding behavior, perceptions, social activities, traits and thoughts of people individually or in groups by means of description. Research Results: 1) Educational Thoughts of KH. Noer Alie in the book Nurul Hidayah includes: 1. The application of moral education has been implemented in schools both regarding knowledge, teachers and books, 2. Students' understanding of the virtues of knowledge, its benefits and benefits. 2) Efforts to improve students' morals have been carried out in schools effectively, through the uswah method carried out by KH. Noer Alie by practicing the sciences explained in the book Nurul Hidayah. 3) Evaluation of students' moral education has a positive impact not only on students, but teachers also feel a positive impact with the evaluation of moral education. 4) Supporting factors include: a good environment inside and outside the school, the existence of examples and role models for students to follow. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is that the allocation of time for moral learning is only carried out once a week. Conclusions from the results of this research: 1) Educational Thoughts of KH. Noer Alie in the Book of Nurul Hidayah covers the application and understanding of students in moral education. 2) Efforts to improve students at school have been carried out effectively, 3) Evaluation of students' moral education has had a positive impact on students and teachers. 4) Supporting factors include a good environment that brings change for students, especially students, while the inhibiting factor is that there must be control and supervision of children in using social media.
