Abstract
ABSTRACK This research aims to determine the relationship between loneliness and narcissistic tendencies and the intensity of use of the TikTok application among students. This research is quantitative correlational research, with research subjects totaling 285 students from the 2019-2023 class of Islamic University "45" Bekasi. The sampling technique uses quota sampling. Loneliness has a Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0.828, narcissistic tendencies 0.808, and intensity of use of the TikTok application 0.895. Data analysis was carried out using Spearman Rank correlation and Multiple Linear Regression. This research shows that there is a positive relationship between loneliness and the intensity of use of the TikTok application, then there is a positive relationship between narcissistic tendencies and the intensity of use of the TikTok application, and there is a significant influence between loneliness and narcissistic tendencies on the intensity of use of the TikTok application with a coefficient of determination value of 0.348, which means, loneliness and narcissistic tendencies have a 34.8% influence on the intensity of use of the TikTok application and the remaining 65.2% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
