Abstract

The Influence of Work Stress on Employee Turnover Intention at PP Berkah Jaya, Moderated by Social Support xiv + 96 pages + 20 tables + 7 images + 3 diagrams + 12 appendices + 2023 Keywords: Work stress, Turnover intention, Social support. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of work stress on employee turnover intentions at PP Berkah Jaya, moderated by social support. This study uses a quantitative research model, and for the analysis method, it uses the SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling-Part Least Square) model with SmartPLS version 3.2.9 as a data processing test tool. The data used is primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to PP Berkah Jaya employees, namely as many as 35 employees who are saturated samples. The results showed that social support and work stress did not have a significant direct effect on turnover intention. Then social support that acts as a moderating variable has an indirect effect that significantly plays a role in moderating (weakening) work stress on employee turnover intention at PP Berkah Jaya with an original sample value of 0.5422, which is significant with t count = 2.2279 and sig = 0.0263. For the next research update, it is recommended to add other variables that are suspected to affect turnover intention, namely the work environment, work-life balance, employee engagement, employee retention, and leadership. In order to obtain better research results, review the issue of turnover intention. Bibliography: 47 (1978-2023)
