Abstract

This research was motivated by the presence of several students who had difficulty reading the Qur'an when given a practice exam reading the Qur'an. When taught how to read the Qur'an some students paid less attention. can't read the Qur'an. This study aims to find out the strategies of PAI teachers in increasing students' learning motivation in reading the Qur'an at Taruna Bangsa Vocational High School, Bekasi City, to find out what factors hinder and support PAI teachers in increasing students' learning motivation in reading the Al-Qur'an at SMK Taruna Bangsa, Bekasi City. The results of this study are expected to provide benefits for every reader, especially in the world of education. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. To determine the validity of the data by comparing existing data. Data management was carried out when researchers made direct observations and after data collection. The results of the study can be concluded that the teacher can determine how the strategy for using the right method is in accordance with the abilities of his students.
