Abstract
This research was motivated by the low grade IV students' daily test scores for Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects at SDN Kayuringin Jaya XV Bekasi Selatan. The low science learning outcomes are because students have difficulty mentioning a material, students have difficulty when asked to explain a material, students have difficulty sorting random material, students have difficulty solving a problem from material, students have difficulty when asked to conclude two different things. One solution to overcome the above problems is to apply the Visualization Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) model which can combine the three learning styles (seeing, hearing, and moving) and is able to involve students optimally in discovering and understanding a concept through physical activities such as demonstrations, experiments. , observation, and active discussion. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of this research was conducted on fourth grade students at SDN Kayuringin Jaya XV Bekasi Selatan, totaling 28 students. 18 male students and 10 female students. From the results of research on science learning outcomes for grade IV students, it can be seen that there has been an increase. In cycle I obtained an average value of 69.82 with a success percentage of 53.57%. In cycle II it can be seen that there has been an increase with an average value of 80.83 and a percentage of 82.14% of students who have achieved classical mastery. This shows that the Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) model can improve science learning outcomes for class IV SDN Kayuringin Jaya XV Bekasi Selatan
