Abstract

This scientific paper is entitled "Model Mind Mapping as a Solution in Improving Learning Outcomes of Elementary School Students in Science Subjects". Science subject is one of the subjects that is quite difficult for students, especially in certain materials, but sometimes science subjects have material that is contextual and easy for students to find in their daily activities. The low learning outcomes of Natural Sciences (IPA) are due to a lack of understanding of the meaning of the subject matter being studied because the teacher uses conventional methods in the learning process. The mind mapping learning model is a creative note-taking model that makes it easy for students to be able to remember and understand a lot of information because with mind mapping it is enough for students to remember the main ideas or ideas to be able to stimulate memory easily, students can save time, compose writing regularly, explore more ideas with a mind map. This in the mind mapping model can help students to make it easier to remember knowledge in students.
