Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in the speech ability of children aged 5-6 years before and after being given treatment through the method of telling stories with finger puppet media. This research used the Pre Experimental method with a design One group pretest postest design. The subjects in this study were students in kindergarten B Cendikia Islamic School aged 5-6 years with a total of 14 children. Data collection is carried out through, observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using Paired Sample T-Test. This study showed that there was a difference between the child's condition before treatment 30.14 and after treatment 49.9. So that overall the speaking ability of children aged 5-6 years has developed by 37% after treatment using the method of telling stories with finger puppet media.
