Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted to find out how the implementation of the Yanbu'a method in learning the Koran at TPQ Rasyadul Islam, to find out the quality of students and to find out the improvement in the quality of reading the Koran with the Yanbu'a method. This research was conducted through data analysis techniques that had been obtained during research activities. The researcher attempted to explain and rationally explain the objectives and research problems that existed. The research method used is a qualitative method. While the type of research is field research. This research data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. This study formulates how the implementation of the Yanbu'a method in learning the Qur'an at TPQ Rasyadul Islam? Next, how is the quality of reading the Qur'an of students at TPQ Rasyadul Islam? And can the Yanbu'a method improve the quality of reading the Koran at TPQ Rasyadul Islam? This study found at least 4 kinds of findings, namely: first, the Yanbu'a method is a method used in studying Al-Qur'an readings, delivered practically through the Yanbu'a book which consists of seven volumes. Second, the implementation of the Yanbu'a method in learning the letters of the Qur'an is carried out by sorogan and supplemented with supporting material, with an allotment of 70-90 minutes of learning time, the implementation steps are: (1) opening, the teacher opens the activity by pray together, (2) the teacher begins the core activity, namely reading the Qur'an with the Yanbu'a method, (3) the teacher provides supporting material, (4) closing prayer. The material in the Yanbu'a method starting from volume 1 to volume 5 is the hijaiyah letter recognition phase, the sound recognition phase and the short reading length recognition phase. And volumes 6 to 7 are the phase of introducing tajwid law. Third, the lack of maximum quality of students in reading the Qur'an. Fourth, the application of the Yanbu'a method in reading the Qur'an which can help students to improve the quality of their Al-Qur'an reading. Keywords: Method, Yanbu'a, Quality of Reading Al-Qur'an
