Abstract
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TILAWATI METHOD IN REPRESENTATION OF THE QUR'AN AT AL-MUNAWAROH ISLAMIC JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL, BEKASI REGENCY Atina Salamah 45 Islamic University, Indonesia ABSTRACT Learning the Qur’an including how to read it properly and correctly is not easy as turning the palm of the hand. one method of learning the Qur’an has been found in the Tilawati method. This method emphasizes how to teach the Qur’an to students with an artistic approach. Utilization of information technology-based learning media is the use of computers as a support to increase student interest in learning. The application of the Tilawati method in junior high schools is carried out in the Computer Laboratory room using the zoom application. Students are also facilitated with headphones and internet network. This study uses a qualitative approach and the type of descriptive research. Methods of data collection using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Technical analysis of data using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. While checking the validity of the data using triangulation (triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques). Learning outcomes prioritize on improving the ability and quality of students in reading the Qur'an. The stages are learning targets, learning processes, materials, and learning evaluations. The plan for the tilawati method to be implamented at Al-Munawwaroh islamic junior high school started from the application of the Iqro method in learning the Qur’an which did not bring significant changes. So the principal and his deputy are looking for other alternatives. After searching of information, Al-Munawwaroh islamic junior high school sent 5 teacher to attand the training. The application of the Tilawati method at Al-Munawwaroh islamic junior high school as a whole is in accordance with the provisions set by the Tilawati institution. But there are several things are adapted and combine with the conditions and programs at the school. The application of this Tilawati method can increase students' interest and ability to read the Qur’an, this can be seen from the results of the assessment or munaqosyah that have been carried out. In addition, learning with the Tilawati method also has an impact on increasing students' self-confidence. Keywords: Learning methods, Tilawati, Al-Qur’an learning methods.
