Abstract

PERANAN SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN DALAM PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DI SMA NEGERI 14 KOTA BEKASI LIZWAR MUGHNI ARASY NIM 41189901200011 Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Gmail : lizwar67@gmail.com ABSTRACT Decision Making is an activity that is always carried out by the Principal in carrying out his duties in providing education. In making decisions there are factors that determine the effectiveness of decisions taken, namely the role of management information systems. This research was conducted to find out how education management information systems play a role in decision making by school principals. The research method that the writer uses in conducting this research is descriptive qualitative analysis in which the writer describes and analyzes the data obtained in the field. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and document studies. The research conducted, the authors get the result that the education management information system for school principals in decision making has played a role. This can be proven by the percentage of decision making made by school principals using the SIM role which is greater than the decision making without the SIM role. Data shows that 89% of school principals' decisions use the SIM role while 11% do not use a SIM. Based on the results of this study, there are several suggestions that can be applied in using SIM in schools, namely: 1) the principal should always refer to data in making decisions. 2) schools should maximize the use of information technology 3) schools should use decision-making system applications / decision support systems so that decision making is faster, accurate and precise.
