Abstract

Working students face dual demands as students and workers, potentially leading to work-study conflict, high workloads, and increased academic stress. These conditions can disrupt the balance between academic and work responsibilities, thus impacting students' psychological health and academic achievement. This study aims to determine the effect of work-study conflict and workload on academic stress in working students. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The study population was active working students of Regular Class C of Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi, with a sample of 93 respondents obtained using a simple random sampling technique. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the higher the work-study conflict experienced by working students, the higher the level of academic stress they felt.
