Abstract
Ahmad Faiz. 2026. Improving Arabic Vocabulary Comprehension through Flashcard Media among Second Grade Students at SDIT Al Munawwarah. Thesis. Islamic Education Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Religion, Islamic University 45 Bekasi. This research was motivated by the low Arabic vocabulary comprehension among second-grade students at SDIT Al Munawwarah. Out of 17 students, only 3 students (17.65%) achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM = 70), with an average score of 47.06. Monotonous teaching methods and lack of innovative media were the main causes. This study aimed to improve students' Arabic vocabulary comprehension through flashcard media. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 17 second-grade students of SDIT Al Munawwarah with vocabulary themes: classroom objects, fruits, and a combination of both. Data collection techniques included post-tests, observation, and documentation. The results showed significant improvement. Pre-cycle: mean 47.06, mastery 17.65%. Cycle I: mean 65.88, mastery 52.94%. Cycle II: mean 80.59, mastery 82.35%. Cycle III: mean 85.88, mastery 94.12%. Thus, flashcard media is effective in improving Arabic vocabulary comprehension among second-grade students at SDIT Al Munawwarah.
